6clicks monthly wrap – July 2020

Contents
From the desk...
Welcome to the monthly wrap. Well, where to begin!? 6clicks has achieved enormous growth over the last month and we are truly humbled by the support and certainly grateful, particularly as we feel the effects of ‘lockdown 2.0’ here in Melbourne.
If our recent expansions into APAC and India, the launch of our Artificial Intelligence Research & Development division and game-changing product releases weren’t enough to celebrate, add to that a successful $2.2M cap raise and the appointment of Ian Buddery as Non-Exec Director!
The 6clicks mission to improve risk and compliance has now become contagious. We also recently welcomed Srini Peyyalamitta and Shashini Abeyrante to the family and we could not be happier.
Annoyingly, I cannot tell you a great deal about what we have planned for the next few months. Safe to say, global GRC will never be so time-consuming, expensive and unnecessarily difficult ever again.
I would like to take this moment to thank the thousands of companies around the world for downloading and using 6clicks Risk Review For Teams – our brand new free mobile app to support your next risk assessment. Since release, thousands of reviews have been performed and the feedback has been music to our Product team’s ears. We believe that the first crucial steps of risk management should be free and unchained form administrative burden. Hence, the app is free and waiting for you to discover now on iOS and Android.
This monthly wrap is packed, I simply cannot reference it all lest I ruin the fun. See for yourself below. Please, the entire 6clicks family is here for you any time. Reach out.
Cyber news...
What a busy time for cyber security eh!? From Russia to China, from Zoom to TikTok, from Facebook to Twitter from working in an office to working from home during a pandemic the importance of having strong cyber security has never been more apparent. The potential for loss is unfathomable and we should absolutely do more about it.
Representatives from industry (well at least Telstra) have come up with a list of 60 recommendations to fix our troubles and the government has a hefty budget increase for defence and cyber. Is your organisation following this lead and doing something about its cyber game? We at 6clicks would love to help you and play our part.
On the app content front – in the spirit of equality – we’ve recently also made available Assessments against the various cyber, information security and digital security policies released by the Western Australian, South Australian and Tasmanian Governments.
We’ve also released the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) July 2020 version which includes several updates to the way assessments are performed following the abolition of the ASD Certified Cloud Service Providers List (CCSL).
For industry, we introduced CSA Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ) Lite to go along with the complete CAIQ. The lite version includes a more manageable 71 questions and still covers the 16 domains of the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
We will have a whole bunch more to report on non-cyber related legislation, regulations and standards very soon.
Stay safe and well.
